As proud champions of freedom, we warmly invite today’s military service members and veterans to unite with us. Our shared experiences on the battlefield create an unbreakable bond that ties us together. Your extraordinary courage and selfless sacrifices have significantly shaped the preservation of global peace and the freedoms we cherish every day as Americans. Join us as we continue this essential mission together. Post 6091 is dedicated to serving all veterans and their families, whether in times of crisis or seeking to enhance their lives. We gather on the second Thursday of each month. Come and discover how our community activities empower us to make a difference, one veteran at a time. No one does more for veterans than the VFW!

Commander Joey Williams

Post 6091 may be small in numbers, but our commitment to veterans and the community is unwavering. The dedication of our members has led to numerous achievements and impactful activities throughout Dillon County and the surrounding areas. We have assisted many veterans and their families in overcoming life's challenges, including housing and food insecurities, as well as providing career improvement opportunities through the South Carolina Department of Veterans Affairs' Palmetto Pathfinders Program. 

Our efforts were recognized with the VFW Department of South Carolina's prestigious Most Outstanding Veteran of Foreign Wars Post award for the 2025-2026 year. We are also excited to announce that we are establishing an auxiliary for family members, which will enhance our Post's ability to serve the community and reach more individuals in need. 

On behalf of our members, I invite you and your family to join our team as we continue to make a difference in the lives of veterans and their families. To our members, thank you for your service to our nation, our community, and our Post. YOUR contribution is the key to our Post's success.
